Edmond Chan was born in Hong Kong. He graduated in 2004 from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), and hold the Licentiate Diploma (LTCL) in Trumpet of Trinity College London. In the past, Edmond has been a freelance player with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. He has performed with the HKAPA Brass Ensemble and HKPO in Europe, China and Asia.
Edmond currently plays trumpet with the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, and is also very active in other local ensembles. Edmond is a trumpet teacher and orchestra conductor in several primary and secondary schools such as St. Paul's Co-Educational Primary School, La Salle Primary School, Hong Kong Baptist Convention Primary School, and SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School.
