Amy completed her Bachelor of Arts (Music) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, under guidance of Martin Choy, former Principal Clarinet of Hong Kong Sinfonietta and pursued her Master in Music Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music in United Kingdom under Ms. Lynsey Marsh, former Principal Clarinet of Hallé Orchestra in United Kingdom.
Amy actively participated in various clarinet masterclasses held by renowned clarinet artists Messrs. Michael Collins, Charles Neidich, Andrew Simon as well as Ayako Oshima etc. As an active clarinetist, she has performed with Hong Kong Professional Winds and Hong Kong Festival Orchestra etc. She was appointed as the Concert Mistress of Hong Kong Festival Wind Orchestra between 2005 and 2012. She hosted her recital “Les cadeaux français" in 2012 and “British Night” in 2014. In 2013, she partnered with two musicians to showcase the Slavonic songs in Folklore.
