Tang Hin Wah completed his bachelor and master degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Afterwards, he received a scholarship to further his studies with Dr. Rimma Sushanskaya who is the last student of the legendary David Oistrakh. Upon his return to Hong Kong, Tang continues his studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and graduated with all excellent results. Mr. Tang is the holder of the Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music Violin Performance Diploma and the Fellowship of the Trinity College, London Violin Recital Diploma.
Mr. Tang is an active solo violin player. Apart from solo performance, Mr. Tang has also participated in numerous orchestras such as City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong as well as the Macao Orchestra.
Besides performing, Mr.Tang also keen on teaching, he has been interviewed as a music educator by different media. Lately, Tang is invited by the renowned Harrow International School Hong Kong to conduct their senior orchestra and teach violin lesson.
Apart from playing serious music, Tang has been invited to perform with many renowned pop artists such as IL DIVO, Yoshiki @ X Japan, Jacky Cheung, Eason Chan, Alan Tam, and more. In 2015, Mr. Tang was invited to record the solo violin part of the movie "She remembers, He Forgets" .The film song "We Almost Fly" was awarded the best original film song of the 35th Hong Kong Film Awards. From 2016, Mr. Tang has been invited to be the soloist in Joey Yung and Hacken Lee concert tour.
