Liu Louisa started to play trombone since 7 and has attained a diploma in trombone performance in 2014. Liu has leant from Palas Chan, Pak Wing Heng, Chan Wing Sze and Cheung Shek Lui. Liu has been a principal trombonist in Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra and Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band, in which Liu has followed the orchestra and the band to Yekaterinburg of Russia and Jeju of South Korea to have music exchange tours in 2015 and 2013 respectively. Liu also participated Jockey Club Keys to Music Education Programme 2014/15 – Share the Stage with the HK PHIL under the baton of Perry So. Liu had also received coaching from Demondrae Thurman and Professor Chang Jun-hwa. Liu has joined the Hong Kong Festival Orchestra since 2015.
